About Our Top Dermatologist

Dr. Dorfman is a board-certified dermatologist who practices general dermatology, surgical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. She has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented at both regional and national meetings. Dr. Dorfman completed her dermatology residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she served as chief resident in her final year.

Dr. Dorfman grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina before attending Pennsylvania State University for her undergraduate studies. She then attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was elected to the Sigma Sigma Phi medical honor society.

Outside of dermatology, she enjoys running, cooking, painting and spending time with her husband and daughters.

Dr. Marissa Milchak is a board-certified dermatologist who practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She specializes in hair restoration and is a member of the the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. She completed her dermatology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA., where she served as chief resident in her final year.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Milchak has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at regional/national meetings. She is a current member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Philadelphia Dermatological Society. Volunteerism has always been important to Dr. Milchak, as evidenced by her ongoing involvement in the American Academy of Dermatology’s Camp Discovery.

Dr. Milchak grew up outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate studies at Washington & Jefferson College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in chemistry and minor in mathematics. She then attended medical school at Penn State College of Medicine, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society and was awarded the Ruth S. Wolfe Memorial Scholarship.

Outside of dermatology, Dr. Milchak enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family and husband. Her favorite hobby is running- she proudly completed several marathons and half Ironmans. Dr. Milchak is excited to serve patients in her home state of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kate Hallock is a board-certified dermatologist who treats complex dermatological conditions, performs dermatologic surgery and cosmetic dermatology, and treats patients of all ages, including children. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed medical school and her dermatology residency at Penn State Hershey, where she served as chief resident. She then remained at Hershey Medical Center for three years as assistant professor of dermatology. During that time, she was involved in resident education, published articles in peer reviewed journals, served as co-chair for a bi-annual dermatology meeting at Penn State, and was a member on the diversity committee. She is a current member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).

Dr. Hallock is excited to return to Philadelphia, a city she learned to love when she attended college. Outside of dermatology, Dr. Hallock enjoys triathlons, running, traveling, cooking, camping, and spending time with her family.

Aimee Krausz , MD, FACMS is a fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a Board-Certified Dermatologist who specializes in the comprehensive treatment of skin cancer. As a skin cancer expert, she ensures the complete removal of your skin cancer and focuses on aesthetic and elegant reconstruction.

Dr. Krausz graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and her dermatology residency at Albert Einstein, where she served as chief resident. She then completed a rigorous fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. She loves teaching medical students and residents and is actively involved in research focused on advancing the field of dermatologic oncology.

Dr. Krausz has published numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed medical journals and lectures nationally on dermatologic surgery and cutaneous oncology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser, Medicine and Surgery.

She lives in Merion with her husband and three children and is excited to serve the Main Line community!

Kyra Berns is a board certified dermatology Physician Assistant who practices general and cosmetic dermatology with a special interest in hair loss. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Health Policy and Management, as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Biology from Providence College. She then graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.

After graduation, Kyra completed a 12-month fellowship with Brown Dermatology in Providence, RI. Her fellowship year focused on many specialties within dermatology, including hair loss, dermatology/rheumatology, cutaneous lymphoma, bullous disorders, Mohs surgery, and prevention and management of non-melanoma and melanoma skin malignancies. Additionally, she completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant Diplomate Fellowship.

Following her fellowship year, she was a PA with Brown Dermatology until she recently relocated to Philadelphia. She is thrilled to be back in her home state and near her family in Hershey, PA. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time exploring the city with her fiancé and golden retriever, Sawyer.

Kate Powers is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. She was born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biological Studies and Health Professions from the Pennsylvania State University. Katie continued her education at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA where she received her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is a current member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants Society, and the Dermatological Society of New Jersey. Additionally, she is a SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Candidate.

Bao Bao is a seasoned aesthetician with solid foundations in skin anatomy and diseases, as well as rejuvenation of the body, mind, and spirit.

Before joining Ringpfeil Advanced Dermatology, Bao provided aesthetic services at top medical spas on the Mainline and in the Philadelphia area. She graduated the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute from where she also got her certification.

Bao’s expertises include laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation, body sculpting, chemical peels, facials, and microdermabrasion. With her extensive knowledge of medical aesthetics and focus on safety, she develops effective skin care regimens for all skin types and colors.

Holly has been practicing as a licensed aesthetician for over 10 years.

As a native Tennessean, she graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition & Dietetics. Her esthetics career began at Jón Alan Salon & Spa in Nashville where she completed intensive AVEDA training and when promoted to Esthetics Director, she implemented more advanced services such as microdermabrasion, dermaplaning and introduced SkinCeuticals to her team.

Since moving to Philadelphia in 2015, Holly began extensive laser training at one of the top medical spas in Bucks County. She specializes in all aspects of the esthetics industry including all laser modalities that treat hair removal, skin rejuvenation, chemical peels, and highly customized facial treatments.

Holly prioritizes continuing education in an ever-evolving industry, and strongly believes in empowering individuals to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.

Erin Cavanaugh is an experienced, certified medical aesthetician with extensive training from both The Beauty Institute of Ambler and the Institute of Laser Medicine, as well as a bachelor’s degree in education from West Chester University. She has been specializing in a wide range of laser modalities in the treatment of medical and cosmetic conditions.

Her passion in life is helping others to feel their very best, both inside and out. Erin’s strongest loves are skincare and wellness and she will work hand and hand with you towards your skincare goals.

Megan became interested in skincare after developing rosacea in her early 20’s. She pursued a career in esthetics in June 2017 and completed her certification in South Carolina. She then received her esthetic license in Georgia and started working at Savannah Plastic Surgery in 2019 where she trained with her mentor.

In 2021 Megan began working at Chatham Plastic Surgery where she dedicated her time to helping patients with their skin concerns. She customized monthly facials, home care protocols and yearly treatments based on each person’s skincare goals. Megan learned many skills during her time in Savannah. She performed medical grade facials, dermaplaning, hydrodermabrasion, chemical peels, microneedling radio frequency, and laser treatments including broad band light, laser hair reduction and ablative skin resurfacing. Megan is passionate about providing her patients with exceptional care and the best possible treatment plan for each individual.
